Bereavement Counselling

Bereavement is some of the most rewarding work I do. I have worked in a local hospice, supporting people through bereavement, and I have had specialist training in bereavement counselling.

Grief is different for everyone, and there is no right or wrong way to feel. I have worked with clients who have lost a spouse or partner, parent, sibling and child.

My approach is mainly person-centred, which means you set the pace and I listen. We may look at all the dimensions and grief to help you with your grief. Where it helps, I may use other appraches too.

Most people find 8 to 10 sessions helpful, but we will go at a pace that suits you.
