Anxiety Counselling

Anxiety is an area I am very passionate about. I work with people of all ages, with a particular focus on teenagers.

I work in a secondary school with young people aged 11 and over, so I understand the pressures they face.

I mainly use CBT, which helps you understand your worries and learn practical ways to manage them. Where it helps, I also use other approaches were necessary.

Most people find 6 to 8 sessions helpful.

Bereavement Counselling

Bereavement is some of the most rewarding work I do. I have worked in a local hospice, supporting people through bereavement, and I have had specialist training in bereavement counselling.

Grief is different for everyone, and there is no right or wrong way to feel.

My approach is mainly person-centred, which means you set the pace and I listen. We may look at all the dimensions and grief to help you with your grief. Where it helps, I may use other appraches too.

Most people find 8 to 10 sessions helpful, but we will go at a pace that suits you.
